I had a whole lot of feelings about this game, and I wrote about them for Hyper. I know it’s been criticized for a lot of technical issues, but narratively this game was just what I wanted it to be.
It’s obviously on this list for a few reasons – one of which was the inclusion of a poorly written trans character, but I understand that Bioware are working to correct their mistake. They did a better job of the same-gender relationship options, and I damn well loved my romance with ‘rogue academic’ Peebee. Seriously, who doesn’t want to date someone with a title as amazing as that?
You should play this if…
You played the original trilogy, because I personally think it was a great way to continue on the story. Or if you just want to participate in a cool space adventure. It’s a pretty long game though – you’ll want to set aside a fair chunk of time.
