In Phantasmagoria 2: A Puzzle of Flesh, Curtis is represented as bisexual. However, he struggles to accept his attractions, partially because his mother forced him to wear women's clothing as a child; although this may hint at transmisogyny, this history is used in the narrative so that a therapist can tell Curtis that this isn't what made him bisexual.
Curtis is attracted to an NPC, Trevor, while also seen to be in a relationship with Jocilyn. He is interested in having an open relationship with Trevor and Jocilyn, and expresses this to his therapist who does not dismiss the legitimacy of that desire; however, Jocilyn is not interested in this. He later becomes attracted to Therese, who reveals BDSM relationships to him by encouraging (or coercing) him to participate in light BDSM at a BDSM club; BDSM is represented in the game as a 'dark side' of sexuality as it becomes part of Curtis cheating on Jocilyn.
