The Temple of Elemental Evil is a digital remake of the Dungeons and Dragons campaign, and allows the player to enter a same-gender marriage if they are playing as a man.

The game also features a quest where the party rescues a slave; as a reward, Bertram promises himself to one of the members of the party, dependent only on who spoke to him first and not on gender. However, it is worth noting that there are two places this quest can be initiated from, but speaking to Bertram in only one of these locations can result in him being attracted to a man after the quest is complete. If the relationship with Bertram is pursued, he can be married and he and the player-character in question live 'happily together'.
